So I've been awol for a couple days. Since monday actually. Tuesday was absolutely dead boring. I spent most of the day waiting around for kenshisan to wake up and tell me who was killing zombies at the revive point. So, I got bored and fell asleep.
When I woke up later that night one of the other people who has been boarded up in the hospital had laid out some drinks for us. I drank to world peace and headed out into the snow. I don't know exactly what I was looking for; an outfit, some entertainment...Whatever it was, the snow wasn't going to allow it. I soon passed out in the doorway of an apartment building.
When I awoke in the cool winter light of Wednesday morning, I'd been attacked by a zombie and had in fact contracted the illness. Stiff joints, involuntary muscle spasms and of course the hunger...I knew what I was doing the whole time. The test would be whether I could excercise some restraint. Fortunately it wasn't too far to the nearest cemetery so I laid down in the grass and went to sleep. And it was a deep, unmoving sleep. I awoke thursday to the sting of a needle in my arm.
Once I'd been revived, I hurriedly found a pub to sleep in. Here I also managed to find a nice little red number and a leather jacket. I wonder who it belonged to previously. Clothing tends to carry something of their owner with it. I slept all night on an overstuffed corner seat. When I awoke A zombie had smashed down the barricades and had broken in. I decided to test out my aim and managed to kill her after a few bad shots. But on the plus side, my aim has improved by almost 25%! I dumped her body outside, but I couldn't barricade the building. I did however manage to find a small warehouse to sleep in tonight.
