We Can Be Heroes

It's been a long time.

Recently I awoke from a rather long nap to find myself incredibly restless. Anxious even, to continue my work. Just what was that again? I guess it wasn't all that important as I found the urge to party simply irresistible and, upon gathering my senses, I learned that the hottest ticket in town at that moment was at the Blackmore Building.

Over a hundred zombies and a hundred and twenty odd survivors had decided to engage in some kind of battle for the territory. It was really just another silly political struggle which makes no sense whatsoever. Blackmore is just one building of thousands in Malton. A drab, clinical place with lab equipment and computer screens. Hardly my venue of choice, but the party was there.

Still a bit frail from some 6 months of sleep and not wanting to over-do things, I simply caught up with an old friend, met some new acquaintances. T'was not what I'd call a grand return to society, but tongues wagged, cameras flashed and law men ground their teeth.

All said it was rather pleasant reception. I was especially glad to see everyone's favorite zombie, Johnny Bass. And I even had the opportunity to answer a plea for help.

Dr van Ghoulenhacq, for instance, was a dirty thief that needed to be punished. And I got to try out a brand new recipe on JiII VaIentine. Unfortunately she ended up sort of dead. Must have been the rum.

Then there was Police Unit. A rather unfortunate chap, I did all that I could to ease his pain.

And the beat goes on.

I had hoped that writing this would bring back some recollection of the events leading up to my long nap. Sadly my memory of that time is a twitching, mangled mess of nerves, completely devoid of life. Kinda like all those people I killed. Oops.

I really can't recall exactly what it was I was doing before. I'm sure it can't have been all that bad though, right? I mean, I've so many adoring fans!

I'm Back

Did you miss me?
