Day 4 - Stirred not Shaken

So I've been awol for a couple days. Since monday actually. Tuesday was absolutely dead boring. I spent most of the day waiting around for kenshisan to wake up and tell me who was killing zombies at the revive point. So, I got bored and fell asleep.

When I woke up later that night one of the other people who has been boarded up in the hospital had laid out some drinks for us. I drank to world peace and headed out into the snow. I don't know exactly what I was looking for; an outfit, some entertainment...Whatever it was, the snow wasn't going to allow it. I soon passed out in the doorway of an apartment building.

When I awoke in the cool winter light of Wednesday morning, I'd been attacked by a zombie and had in fact contracted the illness. Stiff joints, involuntary muscle spasms and of course the hunger...I knew what I was doing the whole time. The test would be whether I could excercise some restraint. Fortunately it wasn't too far to the nearest cemetery so I laid down in the grass and went to sleep. And it was a deep, unmoving sleep. I awoke thursday to the sting of a needle in my arm.

Once I'd been revived, I hurriedly found a pub to sleep in. Here I also managed to find a nice little red number and a leather jacket. I wonder who it belonged to previously. Clothing tends to carry something of their owner with it. I slept all night on an overstuffed corner seat. When I awoke A zombie had smashed down the barricades and had broken in. I decided to test out my aim and managed to kill her after a few bad shots. But on the plus side, my aim has improved by almost 25%! I dumped her body outside, but I couldn't barricade the building. I did however manage to find a small warehouse to sleep in tonight.

Day 1 - No Madison Avenue

So today I landed back in Malton. This place doesn't seem to have changed much. It's still the dreary little burb I once called home. I only wish I had the constitution back then that I do now...So many jerks, so little time.

But on the plus side, Spicer Hills looks nice and zombie free.

I went for a brief...tour of the surrounding suburbs. Mainly to work a little wardrobe magic, but alas, ushers uniforms aren't exactly what I'd call appropriate for my line of work. I came across a fellow die-hard fashion fanatic (or perhaps she was just a die hard zombie killer,) in my travels today. She had been attacked so I patched her up and wandered off, zombie swaying at her side. As a result I nearly didn't make it back to the hospital. I'm pretty sure this is where I'll be living for the next couple days because most hospitals are so heavily barricaded. The ones I saw from the road were anyhow.

Tomorrow I think I'll try to find some more first aid kits. Maybe a nicer outfit, too. It is good to be home in any case.
